Rally for Research raffle tickets will be on sale from through April 13, 2014 with a drawing held at MINI of Grand
Rapids, Monday, April 14 at 7 pm.
College of Human Medicine and MINI of Grand Rapids are teaming up in a
"Rally for Research" for Parkinson's disease research. A Spartan-themed Mini
Cooper is up for raffle and tickets are $100 each. All proceeds will go to purchase a laser scanning confocal microscope for research into Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other diseases.
MSU College of Human Medicine has the distinction of an NIH-funded Morris K. Udall Center of Excellence for Parkinson's Disease Research and is the recipient of five Michael J. Fox Foundation grants for Parkinson's disease research. Our world-renowned scientists are advancing the study of neurodegenerative diseases and discovering new ways to free people from the grip of Parkinson's disease.
